This policy explains how Westminster Child Center (“WCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through westminstercc.org and its online tour-request experience.
Information we collect
When a parent or guardian requests a tour or contacts us, we may collect:
- Parent or guardian name, email address, and phone number.
- A child’s age or birth year.
- Preferred tour days and times.
- Information included in an optional message.
Our website host and technical service providers may also process basic device and usage information, such as an IP address, browser type, pages visited, and date and time of a visit, for security, reliability, and site operation.
How we use information
We use information to respond to tour requests, confirm visits, answer enrollment questions, understand families’ needs, operate and protect the website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use tour-request information for unrelated advertising.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us host the website, deliver forms or messages, and maintain our systems. These providers may use information only to provide services to WCC. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect WCC, our families, or others.
WCC does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, our operational records, and applicable legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of online transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
This website and its forms are intended for parents and guardians, not for children to use independently. Children under 13 should not submit information through this site. A parent or guardian may provide limited information about a child when asking about care or scheduling a tour.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete information you submitted through the website. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
To make a request, email admin@westminstercc.org. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Cookies, tracking, and Do Not Track
As of the date above, WCC does not use third-party advertising trackers on this site. Our hosting provider may use essential technologies and logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Because there is not yet a consistent industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the site does not currently respond to them. If our tracking practices change, we will update this policy.
Third-party links
The site may link to services that WCC does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. We intend to review it at least annually.
